English abstract:
Starting values are an essential component of most optimization problems that use search algorithms. As such algorithms are mostly iterative and deterministic, they require some form of a starting point. In many cases, the choice of the starting point can
have great impact on the success of the search algorithm. Common ways of determining starting values are informed guesses, solving systems of linear equations, linearization, and reducing dimensions
