Kurzfassung englisch:
The intensive use of built environment over time is recognized as the most cost-effective and fastest way to improve operational efficiency and save on energy usage, CO2 emissions and costs. Target of the more-space is to reduce e.g. organisational and cultural barriers to such approaches resulting in unoccupied, poorly utilised and vacant areas of most building. Discrete event simulations for the assessment of alternating office concepts and its use over time will be presented to demonstrate the strategies to reduce space and carbon emissions and enable the perception of more space at the same time.

Schlagworte:
Intensive usage of built environment, spatial management, more-space initiative, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, discrete event simulations
