The journal SNE - Simulation Notes Europe, www.sne-journal.org - publishes since 1992 benchmarks for modelling approaches and simulation implementations. This contribution summearizes the benchmark for modelling and simulation of discrete systems, with emphasis on the new benchmark C20 'Complex Production Systems' and discusses extensions wrt. agent-based approaches and co-simulation
