English abstract:
The simultaneous use of Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) and Laser Ablation Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) has shown to be a valuable tool for the analysis of different sample types. Also elemental mapping of biological samples can benefit from the increased information depth obtained from analyses using both methods in parallel. The range of analyzed elements can be extended drastically due to reduction of issues regarding sensitivity or spectral interferences.
