"The Wigner Distribution - A Tool for Time-Frequency Signal Analysis, Part I: Continuous-Time Signals";
Philips Journal of Research, 35 (1980), 217 - 250.

English abstract:
The paper deals with the Wigner distribution which is a signal transformation that is particularly suited for the time-frequency analysis of non-stationary signals. Several of its properties are summarized. The usefulness of the concept is indicated in some examples. This first part deals with the Wigner distribution of continuous-time signals.
