English abstract:
This paper presents a flexible and easily adaptable building monitoring and diagnostics approach
that combines an IoT-influenced hardware setup with a web based application design. Small data
concentrators and logger modules implemented on Arduino YUN development boards are used to collect
data in a distributed way over the Internet. This data could be synced with a data repository and analyzed in
a modular web application. The typically used hardware and a general system setup is presented in detailed,
followed by a description of developed modules used in the web based diagnostics application. Finally, we
demonstrate the flexibility of the approach in use cases of real project related implementations.
