English abstract:
A benchmark case for aerodynamics and aeroacoustics of a low pressure axial fan was investigated numerically.The aerodynamic simulations were computed with ANSYS Fluent and OpenFOAM. The aeroacoustics source terms and wave propagation were computed in the domain with the multiphysics research software CFS++, using the perturbed convectice wave equation.
