English abstract:
The paper brings a comparative view about two systems of future secondary level ICT teacher education in Austria (University of Vienna, Faculty of Comp. Science, further UW/FCS) and the Czech Republic (Masaryk University, Faculty of Informatics, further MU/FI). The paper will identify common purposes and goals but also differences in the structure of both studies and teacher training, including the first year(s) after the university absolutism when the fresh new teacher enters the real-life. Advantages and disadvantages of both systems including the complexity, flexibility, and quality of the training are analyzed.
