Kurzfassung englisch:
20βOH-NorMD was synthesized with an overall yield of 5.5% in a nine-step synthetic sequence from dehydroepiandrosterone acetate. 17α-Hydroxymethyl-17β-methyl-2-oxaandrost-13-en-3-one was synthesized in three steps from oxandrolone (15% yield). 17β-
Hydroxymethyl-17α-methyl-2-oxaandrost-13-en-3-one was synthesized from
dehydroepiandrosterone acetate in 11 steps.
