Kurzfassung englisch:
This paper describes virtual reconstruction work of four destroyed synagogues in Lodz. The related project activities started in 1998 and focussed on the City of Vienna (Austria). The rationale of extending the context to neighbouring countries will be elaborated upon in this paper.
