"High Resolved Biocompatible Hydrogel Constructs Based on Hyaluronic Acid";
Poster: Workshop Additive manufacturing as a tool to create life in 3D,
Hyaluronic Acid is
an unbranched polysaccharide,
which is abundantly present in the
extra-cellular matrix (ECM)
of vertebrate tissues and hence
heavily used as a basic component
for biomedical applications. So,
HA was chemically modified to
deliver low toxic vinyl esters.
These were then explored as
monomers for the synthesis of
biocompatible hydrogels, used in
2-Photon-Polymerization (2PP) was
used to fabricate 3D hydrogel
constructs with μm accuracy in the
presence of living cells.
