Kurzfassung englisch:
Lithography-based ceramic manufacturing is a photopolymerization-based technique where complex ceramic parts are built in a layer by layer curing process.1 This means the formulations contain ceramic powders, which leads to decreased curing depths of layers due to absorbance and scattering of light.2 To improve the curing depth, the wavelength of the light has to be increased, which makes the deployment of photosensitizers, that absorb light up to the NIR-area, necessary. In our investigations a cyanine dye was selected and reactivity measurements with different photoinitiators, monomers and additives were carried out. Additionally hybrid systems combining radical and cationic polymerization were tested and stability tests of the dye/initiator system were performed. Also the maximum curing depth with the introduced initiating system was investigated in unfilled and filled systems.
