Around the world, advanced technologies in IoT and Big data analytics have been widely explored and applied to the monitoring, analysis and management of complex environments and disasters, covering disasters caused by natures to environmental problems caused humans and inadequate management. In this talk, we will present trends and examples of the benefit of IoT and Big Data Analytics for environmental and disaster management. We will present some thoughts and recommendations for leveraging IoT and Big Data Analytics techniques in Vietnam/developing countries context.
