English abstract:
SOPHISTICATION: RHETORICAL, GEOMETRICAL, AND COMPUTATIONAL "ARTICULATION"
A Symposium on Architecture, Technics, Theory, and Thinking

Digitalization introduces not only new means and thereby unleashes unforeseen societal, economical, political and physical/climatic powers, it also brings along a new "sophistics". This is confusing and discomforting, but it is also emancipatory, and tremendously exciting. Architects, mathematicians, philosophers and information scientists present their research and make proposals based on their experience on how theory and technology, science and diversity, economy and politics, culture, architecture, and planning may be reconsidered anew and brought into novel constellations.

With Pico della Mirandola (read by Sebastian Michael), Rosi Braidotti, Oliver Schürer, Giuseppe Longo, Gertrude Stein (read by Martin Burr), Alexi Kukuljevic, Jorge Orozco, Michael Doyle, Roy Wagner, Elias Zafiris, Frédéric Migayrou, Ludger Hovestadt, and Vera Buehlmann.

Keywords:
digitalization, new sophistics, theory, technology, new constellations
