English abstract:
In recent years there have been many research works and interest in music processing, especially with the availability of the digital music data. The Indonesian Summer School is the first summer school in Music Information Retrieval in Indonesia. The summer school covers basic knowledge in Information Retrieval, music content analysis, content based music indexing. music classification, automatic feature learning, user studies, and music recommendation. The summer school program also includes some Lab sessions.

The summer school is intended for 4th year undergraduate students, master and PhD students, researchers in institutions and industry. The summer school is intended to give the participants some backgrounds to work on the music information retrieval.

The Summer School is organized by Universitas Indonesia, Vienna University of Technology and Johannes Kepler University and is supported by the ASEA-UNINET.
