Kurzfassung englisch:
The presentation will cover development of resonant-tunneling diodes (RTDs) and THz RTD oscillators in the recent years. An overview will be given, which strategies and concepts have been developed recently to increase the operating frequencies of RTDs, which types of RTD oscillators exist and what are their properties. Several novel concepts of THz RTD oscillators will be described.
