The present thesis deals with the issue of social change, the acceptance of reformationist communities, as well as planning and development processes in architecture. A special focus is placed on the current situation in architectural competitions and the processes behind every new building. On the paradigm of the Bauhaus comparisons between the historical and contemporary context of society are created, the three Bauhaus sites in Weimar, Dessau and Berlin are analyzed historically and situated into the present in means of society and change of situations.

Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Thematik von gesellschaftlichem Wandel, der Akzeptanz lebensreformerischer Gemeinschaften, sowie Planungs- und Entstehungsprozessen in der Architektur. Ein besonderer Fokus wird auf die aktuelle Wettbewerbssituation und deren Abläufe gelegt. Anhand des Bauhauses werden Vergleiche zwischen dem historischen und gegenwärtigen gesellschaftlichen Rahmen geschaffen, die drei Bauhausstätten Weimar, Dessau und Berlin werden historisch durchleuchtet und vor diesem Hintergrund in der Gegenwart verortet.
