The Genossenschaftshaus (House of Cooperatives) will be an emblematic center for hosting cooperative initiatives and organizations in the Quartiershaus Quarter in Vienna's 10th district next to the new Central Train Station: the headquarter of Die WoGen Wohnprojekte-Genossenschaft e.Gen. (a new cooperative housing developer and client of the Genossenschaftshaus), office spaces and diverse concepts of apartments: Baugruppen (self initiated co-living), shared apartments, "smart apartments", and many communal spaces.

The specially developed and subsidized ground floor area connects the House of Cooperatives to the +house (feld72): It accommodates socially engaged organizations like Die Kattunfabrik and innovative entrepeneurs contributing to a lively urban space.

By connecting two sites of the Quartierhaus into one urbanistic concept the two buildings (House of Cooperatives and +house) dispose of a collective courtyard and an "urban balcony", which offers an open view to the Helmut-Zilk-Park.

Das Genossenschaftshaus ist das neue Zentrum für Genossenschaften und Initiativen für Gemeinwohl in Wien. Es wurde speziell für das engagierte Quartierhausareal im 10.Bezirk in der unmittelbaren Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs angrenzend an den Helmut-Zilk-Park konzipiert. Die Programme des Genossenschaftshauses beinhalten die Räumlichkeiten der neuen Wohnbaugenossenschaft Die WoGen (die auch Auftraggeber ist), von raum+kommunikation, weitere Büroräume und bieten verschiedene Modelle von Wohnen, insbesondere Baugruppen, Wohngemeinschaften und Atelier-Wohnen an.

Die subventionierte Erdgeschoßzone wurde speziell konzipiert als Werkstatträume für sozial engagierte, innovative Unternehmen wie die Kattunfabrik. Sie verbindet beide Grundstücke und Bauteile, das Genossenschaftshaus und das +haus (feld72), über einen "urbanen Balkon": ein halbprivater Freiraum für die NutzerInnen, der den Blick zum Helmut-Zilk-Park eröffnet.
