The thesis reports in detail about the syntheses, elemental analyses, molecular weight, molar conductance, spectral studies (IR, electronic, NMR, ESR, mass), the magnetic moment measurements and the antimicrobial studies on the coordination compounds of Schiff bases including metal ions like Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II), Zr(OH)2(IV), MoO2(VI) and UO2(VI).
