English abstract:
This study presents a new online rotor resistance/temperature detection technique for utilization in speed sensorless control. The technique proposed is based on analysis and exploitation of inherent machine saliencies. For exploitation of the machine saliencies, a transient voltage pulse excitation method was accomplished. Influence of temperature on saliency parameters are utilized to adjust rotor parameters in order to establish accurate control performance. Measurement results presented, verify the accuracy of the proposed method by comparing estimated and sensor-based values of torque and slip.
