Vortrag: The Online, Open and Flexible Education Conference (OOFHEC2019), Madrid, Spanien; 16.10.2019 - 18.10.2019.

Kurzfassung englisch:
Educating students in future learning settings will differ from current teaching arrangements. Future teaching will include more digital learning artifacts, more virtual reality learning and physical learning spaces might be replaced by virtual spaces. In can be assumed that this process and change of paradigm will also have an impact on the presence of the educators. For teaching within these virtual reality environments, where the entire 360 degree of the learning space is digital, educators might need different skills and require advanced competencies in digital teaching and guidance of students. Based on experiences with an ongoing e-tutoring curriculum, where 360 lectures are an integral part of teaching, the skill and competency sets of educators were discussed. Results are shown within this presentation. Gergely Rakoczi will not only present the skill sets that are believed to be essential for future teaching in 360 virtual reality environments, but also will outlines practical recommendations and challenges regarding educating in virtual 360 learning spaces. This will include useful hints as well as hands-on advices how future educators successfully guide students in 360 virtual lectures.
