English abstract:
We present a method for numerically simulating resonance frequencies and quality factors of non-conventional vibrational
eigenmodes of MEMS resonators in fluids. Non-conventional eigenmodes can be found in MEMS resonators which are
modeled by the Kirchhoff Love equation. We use a discontinuous Galerkin method for numerically solving the Kirchhoff
Love equation and describe the fluid dynamics with a boundary integral ansatz. With these methods we simulate the fluid
structure interaction of non-conventional vibrational eigenmodes of MEMS resonators in fluids and use this approach for
quantitative predictions of resonance frequencies and quality factors.
