English abstract:
Cardiovascular diseases are the main cause of death worldwide. Noninvasively measured biomedical recordings such as electrocardiography and pulse wave yield important information about the status of the cardiovascular system. As a result, clinical practice guidelines recommend the evaluation of several parameters of those signals. Especially individuals receiving hemodialysis are in the highest risk group for the evaluation and management of cardiovascular disease according to established guidelines.
