Platform for debate and speeches
Within the framework of "100 years
FRAUENstudium" at the TU Vienna,
whose jubilee is marked by the 100-year
Anniversary of the right to vote for women in Austria
will be from May 16 to 16. June 201.
The "Platform for Diebate and Speeches" is a
Cooperation project of the TU Vienna with Art in
public space GmbH. Which
new thinking and action is needed by the
society to remove encrusted power structures,
to break and open and these (again), to create and to establish new
community values?
What can "female thinking and acting"
(regardless of gender) contribute to this?
Does it need a new form of feminism?
For this purpose, renowned personalities from
different generations and backgrounds are invited to use
the platform for speeches for(music-)
Performances and various experimental
formats. As a platform in the public
the speeches and performances should also create a
new culture of listening.

Plattform für Streitreden
Im Rahmen von "100 Jahre
FRAUENstudium" an der TU Wien,
dessen Jubiläum mit dem 100-jährigen
Jubiläum des Frauenwahlrechts in Österreich
zusammenfällt, wird von 16. Mai bis 16.
Juni 2019 die "Plattform für Streitreden" als
Kooperationsprojekt der TU Wien mit Kunst im
öffentlichen Raum GmbH realisiert. Welches
neue Denken und Handeln braucht die
Gesellschaft, um verkrustete Machtstrukturen
aufzubrechen und damit (wieder) neue
gemeinschaftliche Werte zu etablieren?
Was kann "weibliches Denken und Handeln"
(unabhängig vom Geschlecht) dazu beitragen?
Braucht es eine neue Form von Feminismus?
Dazu wurden namhafte Persönlichkeiten aus
verschiedenen Generationen und Hintergründen
eingeladen, die Plattform für Reden, (Musik-)
Performances und diverse experimentelle
Formate zu nutzen. Als Plattform im öffentlichen
Raum sollen die Reden und Performances auch
eine neue Kultur des Zuhörens schaffen.
