English abstract:
The reliability of building simulation results depends on two
main factors, namely the soundness of the underlying computational
algorithms and the quality of input data. In this context,
microclimatic boundary conditions constitute one of the most
critical dimensions of simulation model input data. In fact, the
consistent and detailed representation of the complex interactions
between microclimate and buildings is one of the most
important preconditions for the proper deployment of performance
simulation in building design and operation support.
The nature of the interactions makes modelling elaborate and
complicated and the level of required detail implies the need for
obtaining direct measurements for a specific location and for a
representative period.
