The application of CAD, CAE and CAM also puts new demands on inspection and testing in flexible automated production processes. In this environment new demands are put to quality assurance using the aid of computer assistance. The prototype of a measuring cell with the goal to achieve the flexible automation of measuring tasks and quality management in small industrial plants was drawn up at the TU Wien. The measuring cell guarantees economical manufacturing, inspection and management of quality data. The paper gives a report on experiences when utilizing this system. Conclusions are drawn and proposals for quality assurance in surroundings of flexible automated manufacturing are given.

Die Anwendung von CAD, CAE und CAM stellt auch neue Anforderungen an Inspektion und Prüfung in flexiblen automatisierten Produktionsprozessen. In diesem Umfeld werden mit Hilfe von Computerunterstützung neue Anforderungen an die Qualitätssicherung gestellt. An der TU Wien wurde der Prototyp einer Messzelle mit dem Ziel der flexiblen Automatisierung von Messaufgaben und des Qualitätsmanagements in kleinen Industriebetrieben erstellt. Die Messzelle garantiert eine wirtschaftliche Herstellung, Prüfung und Verwaltung von Qualitätsdaten. Der Beitrag gibt einen Erfahrungsbericht über den Einsatz dieses Systems. Es werden Schlussfolgerungen gezogen und Vorschläge zur Qualitätssicherung im Umfeld der flexiblen automatisierten Fertigung gegeben.
