The concept deals with the two components of zoning and greening within a hotel structure. The goal is to define the boundaries and transitions between the private, semi-public and public areas.
These areas potentially have the task to extend the usual tight room structure of the hotel,
and further to add value to users.
Therefor, the proposed hotel will have a structure that allows a conversion
should a new or expanded concept needs to be installed.
The structure includes the inside- as well as the outside space.
The specific placement of greening - the positive qualities that plants bring with them is taken into account throughout the design process.
A kind of space that offers the possibility of retreat is supposed to be created, so users do not have to confine themselves to the room. Looking at it niches and space in use are firstly being developed then integrated into the environment or put together into one space. The perception of the resulting possibilities of use should result in the qualities in order to meet the different requirements of the guests of those areas.
The building itself and the users should benefit from the structure and the use of plants that are influencing the building climate positively and all over associated advantages

Das Konzept behandelt die beiden Komponenten der Zonierung und der Begrünung in einem Studentenhotel.
Das Ziel ist es, die Grenzen und Übergänge zwischen dem Privaten, den halböffentlichen und den öffentlichen Bereichen zu definieren. Diese Bereiche sollen nicht nur die straffe Raumstruktur, die für Hotels üblich ist erweitern, sondern auch einen Mehrwert für die Nutzer darstellen.
Das geplante Hotel bietet eine Struktur, die einen Umbau ermöglicht, sollte ein neues oder erweitertes Konzept verfolgt werden müssen. Innen- wie auch den Außenraum werden in Beziehung gestellt. Das gezielte Platzieren von Begrünung - die positiven Eigenschaften, die Pflanzen mit sich bringen, werden in dem Gestaltungsprozess berücksichtigt.
Es soll durch Nischenbildung die Möglichkeit des Rückzuges geschaffen werden, so dass sich die Nutzer nicht auf das Zimmer beschränken müssen. Bei der Betrachtung werden zuerst Nischen und Raum in Nutzung entwickelt, dann in die Umgebung integriert, bzw. zu einem Raum zusammengesetzt. Die Wahrnehmung der daraus resultierenden Nutzungsmöglichkeiten soll die Qualitäten ergeben, die den unterschiedlichen Anforderungen der Gäste dieser Bereiche gerecht werden.
Gebäude und Nutzer sollen von der Struktur und von dem Einsatz der Pflanzen, dem dadurch beeinflussten Gebäudeklima sowie den damit verbundenen Vorzüge profitieren.
