Study on rolled-off vehicles, part 3: redesigned solution approaches and cost-benefit analysis
The article presents two redesigned solution approaches to arrest rolled-off vehicles - a foldable stumbling block and fixed traversable elastic elements. For said approaches, calculation methods are described which allow an estimation of the required number for the safeguarding of the infrastructure. Additionally, a cost-benefit analysis is described with which the solution with the best cost-benefit ratio can be evaluated for any operating site.
