Kurzfassung englisch:
Archaeological archives are important assets becausethey provide primary information resources for research, mainlydigital archives that not degraded. Instead of directly visiting a site,an archaeologist can examine and manipulate the data withoutharming the real object. However, choosing an efficient scanningscheme with detailed results is a challenging task. In this work,we present new sculpture models obtained in three different waysand assess it in two comparison approaches: A quantitative andqualitative assessment. The quantitative comparison architectureprovides a detailed assessment of three different scanningmechanisms in two stages: point cloud and mesh comparison.This evaluation is purposed to describe the differences betweenunmodified data. Finally, a qualitative evaluation is performedby an expert and practitioner to explain the difference based onfour different produced models to help their needs in the realapplication.
