Keynote Lecture: eCAADe 2020 Anthropologic - Architecture and Fabrication in the cognitive age, Technische Universität Berlin (invited); 2020-09-16 - 2020-09-18.

The keynote introduces an conceptual and methodological approach to integrating architecture and environment entitled "Embedded Architectures". In taking up the title of eCAADe 2020 "Anthropologic" the talk will argue that anthropological inquiry cannot exclusively be anthropocentric in outlook and approach as this critically limits vital design trade-offs in architecture and environment integration. Furthermore, this is summarily addressed the context of integrative transscalar and multi-domain modelling and design computing.

In der Keynote wird ein konzeptioneller und methodischer Ansatz zur Integration von Architektur und Umgebung mit dem Titel "Embedded Architectures" vorgestellt. In Anlehnung an den Titel von eCAADe 2020 "Anthropologic" wird argumentiert, dass anthropologische Untersuchungen nicht ausschließlich in Bezug auf Ausblick und Ansatz anthropozentrisch sein können, da dies wichtige Trade-offs bei der Architektur- und Umweltintegration wesentlich einschränken würde. Darüber hinaus wird hier der Kontext der integrativen transskalaren und Multi-Domain-Modellierung und des Design-Computing angesprochen.
