English abstract:
Pre-ignition is a limiting factor in increasing of performance in turbocharged gasoline engines, with a high potential for damage. The fuel has a significant influence on the pre-ignition tendency of the engine. The established characteristic numbers (RON and MON) can only represent the resistance to knocking well, the pre-ignition behavior is not satisfactorily reproduced. Therefore, there are efforts in the automotive industry to define a test method in order to establish a lest method with the least possible expenditure of time and fuel. In the project presented here, a lest engine and a lest methodology were developed. This was verified with a broad fuel matrix and some mechanisms of action could be shown. lt turned out that it is not possible to predict the tendency to pre-ignite by chemical analysis of the fuel.
