Kurzfassung englisch:
It was shown by Mariusz Lema'nczyk and the author that automatic sequences are orthogonal to bounded and aperiodic multiplicative functions.
This is a manifestation of the disjointedness of additive and multiplicative structures. We continue this path by presenting in this talk a complete classification of complex-valued sequences which are both multiplicative and automatic. This shows that the intersection of these two worlds has a very special (and simple) form.
