English abstract:
In the unpublished text Orme (Footprints), written on the occasion of the exhibition at CIVA, Gian Piero Frassinelli draws up a cultural-anthropological assessment of the transfer and renewal of ideas throughout history. He describes the erasure of cultures as the most barbaric act imaginable and makes a vibrant plea for a resolutely migrant humanity. With Frassinelli, we will build on the reading of Orme to discuss ideas and memory, of people and beyond, throughout history.
Sara Prestianni is an expert in migration policy and a photographer. With twenty years of experience in the field (Libya, Lampedusa, Calais, Mali, Sudan, etc.), she is the author of numerous contributions, which explore the contradiction between human dignity and exclusion, through words and images. She will shed light on the notions of migration and identity in the contemporary geopolitical and cultural context.
Aurélien Vernant is an art and architecture historian and the head of Architecture de Collection. He will discuss the close relationship between anthropology and architecture, which is particularly illuminating for the period between the two world wars and the radical movement of the 1960s and 1970s, movement of which Superstudio was one of the leading figures.
