English abstract:
The aim of this work is to adapt existing construction processes so that they can be carriedout without using construction machines that work with fossil fuels. Large econmies like the European Union (EU), the United States of America and China already have laws that aim touse low-emission devices in construction projects in a way that conserves resources. This thesis summarises the world´s largest construction equipment manufacturers and their product range and an overview of the innovative construction equipment currently on the market that can already operate without the use of fossil fuels. Based on the comparison of aconventionally built residential complex with 50 units located in an urban area with the same fictitious residential complex, built with an adapted, fossil-free construction method, economicand scheduling aspects have been considered. The residential construction site that had already been built was analyzed with the help of the executing company. The various work steps are broken down in detail and by trades. The project is further calculated according to the currentstate of the art using a construction schedule to determine the required construction equipment. The essential trades for this diploma thesis are the construction site equipment, the earthworks, the excavation pit safety and the concrete construction. The construction project that had already been constructed was fictitiously broken down a new using fuel-free construction machines.Special attention is paid here to the trades described above. The construction equipment already presented is used to implement the various work steps.According to manufacturers, the execution of this construction project with purely electrically operated construction machines is possible without any disadvantage in terms of time. Manywell-known device manufacturers already rely on electrically operated construction machines andoffer a wide range of these. The necessary infrastructure must be considered at an early stage ofthe construction phase. According to the Austrian construction equipment list (ÖBGL), there isno disadvantage compared to diesel-powered equipment from a cost point of view.To confirm the assumptions and the calculations, acutally carrying out a purely electrical construction method would be highly valuable. The construction equipment used in this work should be requested from the construction machinery manufacturers to confirm the price assumptions of the ÖBGL. An expert interview in the appendix shows that the prices for electrically operated construction equipment are much higher than the prices from the ÖBGL.
