The expression of human art, and supposedly sentient art in general, is modulated by the available rendition, receiving and communication techniques. The components or instruments of these techniques ultimately exhibit a physical, in particular, quantum layer, which in turn translates into physical and technological capacities to comprehend and utilize what is possible in our universe. In this sense, we can apply a sort of Church-Turing thesis to art, or at least to its rendition.

Der Ausdruck menschlicher Kunst, und angeblich empfindungsfähiger Kunst im Allgemeinen, wird durch die verfügbaren Wiedergabe-, Empfangs- und Kommunikationstechniken moduliert. Die Komponenten oder Instrumente dieser Techniken weisen letztlich eine physikalische, insbesondere eine Quantenebene auf, die sich wiederum in physikalischen und technologischen Fähigkeiten niederschlägt, das in unserem Universum Mögliche zu begreifen und zu nutzen. In diesem Sinne können wir eine Art Church-Turing-These auf die Kunst anwenden, oder zumindest auf ihre Wiedergabe.
