Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research A, 586 (2008), 105 - 109.

English abstract:
The problem of incomplete and noisy information in profile reconstruction from neutron reflectometry data is considered. In particular methods of Bayesian statistics in combination with molleing or inverse scattering techniques are considered in order to properly include the required a priori knowledge to obtain quantitatively reliable estimates of the reconstructed profiles. Applying Bayer theorem the results of different experiments on the same sample can be consistentyl included in the profile reconstruction.

Keywords:
Neutron specular reflection; Depth profiles; a priori knowledge
