Kurzfassung deutsch:
I give an overview of lower dimensional gravity with special focus on
novel results obtained during the last year. In the 2-dimensional part of
the talk I focus on AdS2 holography. In the 3-dimensional part of the talk
I focus on cosmological topologically massive gravity at the chiral point.
